Hey there! Coach Terri here!
A bit about me. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist and Movement Specialist, and have had my own practice since 1996. I have lived in the Chicago area my entire life. I have a background in Exercise Science and Athletic Training; so naturally I end up working with many athletes (and non-athletes!) in my city office, but I also work with the Northwestern University athletic department.
As a USAT Level 1 Certified Triathlon Coach and a RRCA Certified Running Coach, as well as having been a coached athlete myself. I . I enjoy working with individuals as well as groups. I work with athletes of all abilities, as long as they are ready to set some goals and the have desire to achieve more! I have participated in multiple training camps as a participant, organizer, presenter, and coach.
I was not an athlete growing up. Maybe “athletic” and definitely awkward. Though now, its different. I am an athlete, and I am grateful to have found this incredible community through sport. Oh and yes, still a bit awkward.
I have other interests and passions as well, and keep myself pretty busy! Never too busy to “run” the city though! Grab your running shoes and I will see you on the roads….
So excited for you to come to Chicago and RUN! Running is one of my favorite things to do when I travel. Such a great way to see new places. Heck its one of my favorite things to do even when at home! I love heading to different neighborhoods and locations on a little “tour” for training or just fun. Even in the cold!
